元器件交易网讯 4月22日消息，据外媒报道，为抢占中国中端和高端智能手机高清面板2014年订单，面板制造商相继打开价格战。
由于中国对高清面板的强烈需求，日本显示器（JDI）及其子公司台湾显示器（TDI）高清面板的出货量在2014年预计将达到350万片。该公司正在寻求扩大自己的高清产品组合，提升他们的整体市场份额高。

Price wars are stirring up in the panel market for handset-use HD panels as panel makers aim to land expected orders for mid-range and high-end smartphones in the China market in 2014, according to market observers.
Japan Display (JDI) and its subsidiary Taiwan Display (TDI) are looking to expand their HD product mix and increase their overall market share in the HD panel market as HD panel shipments in 2014 are expected to reach 350 million units largely due to demand driven in China, the observers said.
The two companies look to further compete against LG Display, with JDI reportedly downgrading production from Pixel-eye Full HD panels to HD, which could prompt price wars for HD panels during the year as panel makers increasingly compete in the segment.
JDI is also expanding its market scope for LTPS TFT LCD technology in 2014 and increasing customer cooperation to secure more business opportunities during the year, the observers noted.
