元器件交易网讯 3月10日消息，据外媒报道，3月9日，三星电子Galaxy S5的零部件承包商工厂发生火灾。
大火始于昨日上午7点，地点在Gyeonggi Province公司一个三层建筑物的三楼，大火通过二层和三层扩散。据报道，昨天下午2点左右扑灭大火。
当天10多个在工厂的员工已经安全疏散，并无人员伤亡。
该厂由当地三星承包商运营，生产嵌入半导体的铜基零件，用来启动智能手机。
当局表示，他们正在调查火灾的具体原因。
三星官方称，大火的影响是有限的。它强调，供应Galaxy S5没有问题。
三星某官员称，“大火不会影响Galaxy S5的发布日期，因为公司在其他地区包括安山、京畿道有额外的工厂生产线。”
Galaxy S5于上月世界移动大会上正式推出。

A fire broke out on Sunday at a local factory run by a subcontractor supplying semiconductor parts for Samsung Electronics" new flagship Galaxy S5 smartphone.
The fire started at 7:10 a.m. on the third floor of the three-story building in Gyeonggi Province, spreading through the second and third floors. It was put out at around 2 p.m., according to reports.
The more than 10 workers who were working at the factory lines on the day were safely evacuated. No casualties were reported.
The factory is operated by a local Samsung subcontractor that produces copper-based parts fitted into the semiconductors that power the smartphones.
Authorities said they were looking into the exact cause of the fire.
The tech firm claimed that the impact of the fire was limited, stressing that it would have no problem in supplying the Galaxy S5, the latest in its flagship S series smartphones.
“The fire will not affect the release date of the Galaxy S5 since the company has additional factory lines in other regions including Ansan, Gyeonggi Province,” a Samsung official said.
Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S5 at the Mobile World Congress in February.
