元器件交易网讯 2月24日消息，据外媒Vr-zone报道，一名用户称其在使用iPhone 5S浏览Facebook时电池发生鼓涨并起火，用户称他在使用时并没有充电也没有使用其他未授权的设备。
此前仅有一篇报道称一名学生的iPhone 5C在口袋里无故失火，造成其二度烧伤。与之类似事件的照片已发生并在网上公布，这名用户称他在使用iPhone 5S浏览Facebook时蓝屏，同时电池开始鼓涨。他称手机并没有拆开过，使用时没有充电，并且在此之前该手机没有任何损坏。
电池鼓涨将屏幕推高使他仅用一点力气就将屏幕从电线和螺丝中掀开，该用户称电池在三分钟之内开始冒烟，同时他将电磁屏蔽部分掰开以将电池取出。
对于起火发生时如何拍照的问题该用户回复说，iPhone并不是他的主要设备，“我使用iPhone处理短信和电话以外的事情”。苹果尚未对此事作出评论，事件发生的原因也尚不明朗。此前的事例往往以充电器故障或使用未授权的配件为原因，但这次事件中无法再用这样的原因解释。（元器件交易网毛毛 译）

Only recently it was reported that astudent"s iPhone 5C caught fire when it was doing absolutely nothing in herpocket, causing her second degree burns in the process. Photos of a somewhatsimilar incident have been posted online, the source claims that he was usingthe iPhone 5S to browse Facebook when out of the blue the battery started toinflate. He also claims that the phone wasn"t open, wasn"t being charged andthat it had no damage prior to this incident.
Apparently as soon as the battery startedto inflate, it pushed up the screen so much so that he was able to grab a holdof it and rip it off with a fair bit of force, with the screws ripping out ofthe threads. He claims that smoke billowed from the battery for a good threeminutes while he took the EMI shields off in a bid to disconnect the battery toremove it and take it outside.
One might question just how he was able totake pictures when all this was happening. The source says that he doesn"t usethe iPhone as his primary device, ”I use the iPhone for everything else otherthen (sic) texting and calling,” he says. Apple hasn"t commented on thisincident as yet but apparently they did request him to take pictures and sentit to them. Its unclear what may have caused this incident, previous cases haveoften been triggered by faulty chargers or unauthorized accessories, thatdoesn"t appear to be the problem this time around.
